trauma-informed, inclusive, accessible
yoga + movement teacher
BIPOC family (Black, Indigenous + People of Colour), welcome to a class made just for you.
The time is now to connect to our community and ourselves as we move, process, and rest together.
Classes will begin with grounding techniques, some slow and gentle movement, an opportunity to rid our bodies of tension and restorative poses to have us ready the world ahead.
YOGA FOR ALL
Ready to celebrate you?
This body-positive class will have you moving to the rhythm of empowerment and self-love.
Each class is carefully structured with bigger bodies in mind. Together we will practice breathing, stretching, strength work and end with some self-massage.
RACE: STARTING CONVERSATIONS
Holding virtual space for those beginning their journey to unlearn racism.
Like-minded people, trauma-informed bodywork, support, resources and a self-care guide.
Programming developed with ongoing community consultation.
This is what I stand for:
Creating a space for people to feel safe, welcome and at home
Enjoying every class at your own pace
LGBTQ+ and BIPOC inclusivity and safe spaces
Body positivity (reinforcing loving our bodies always, in every shape and size)
Learning to listen to our bodies and building habits where we respond with respect to what we are feeling physically and mentally
Everyone can benefit from yoga. Every body.
Teaching beginner yoga is a specialty here. Whether in workshop form or taking beginner or all-level yoga classes, each experience includes time to explore and find strength in your body in a welcoming and nurturing environment.
There is always time for questions before and after class, including support as you progress in your practice.
Undivided attention and care. One-on-one sessions allow participants to be guided in a completely customized practice.
